Fuchsia - Delta's Sarah [Hardy]

Pot up plugs and grow them on until large enough to plant outside in their final positions.

Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This encourages fuchsia plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers.

Grow Deltas Sarah in containers or borders, in any moist, well drained soil.

Position in a sunny or semi shaded site which is protected from cold winds over winter.

Aftercare

Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season.

Deadhead faded flowers of Fuchsia Delta's Sarah to encourage more blooms to be produced.

In autumn, a bark or compost mulch applied to the base of fuchsia plants will help to protect hardy fuchsias from winter cold.
