Heavenly frilled, fully double blooms swing from these trailing fuchsias all summer long, and well into autumn. Grow double fuchsias as part of a mixed arrangement, or as a splendid show of their own. A long lasting and weather resistant display for baskets and containers! Supplied as 30mm plugs. Height and spread: 45cm (18”).
How to Grow
Fuchsia - Dark Eyes
- Pot up plugs in 7cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers or baskets.
- Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers.
- When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise double fuchsias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.
- Position containers and baskets in a sunny or semi shaded site.
- Aftercare.
- Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season.
- Deadhead faded flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
