How to Grow
Fuchsia - Amazing Maisie
- Pot up plugs in 9cm pots and grow them on in warm frost free conditions until large enough to transplant into final containers or baskets.
- Pinch out the growing points where stems have more than 2 sets of leaves, while the plants are still small. This will encourage the plants to produce more stems, making a bushier plant with more flowers.
- When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise fuchsia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days.
- Aftercare.
- For their final position, grow fuchsia plants in a sunny or semi shaded site.
- Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season.
- Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
