How to Grow
Freesias : Fragrant Doubles
- Plant freesia bulbs in autumn.
- Choose a sunny position in moist, free draining soil. Alternatively plant in groups in containers.
- Plant bulbs 7cm deep with the pointed end facing upwards.
- Aftercare
- Water frequently throughout summer.
- Remove the old foliage from your freesia when they die back in the autumn.
- Freesia bulbs enter a dormant period over winter but will burst back through the soil surface the following spring.
